Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton break out of jail and start robbing banks by holding the bank managers family hostage the night before. By chance they end up meeting bored housewife Cate Blanchett and their relationship with her and their increasing fame leads to problems.The may be derivative, but Cate Blanchett and Billy Bob Thornton both give performances that carry the film.
