A deadly virus starts killing the population of Scotland which is then quarantined for 30 years. When the virus reappears in London and survivors are spotted in Glasgow Rhona Mitra is sent into the quarantine zone to find how they have survived. However she finds a violent and anarchic punk society. This film is something between Mad Max and 28 Days and contains homages to a whole series of horror films. This is violent, bloody, has all sorts of logical and practical plot holes but is actually quite good for what it is, although not a classic piece of horror.
