Ben Barnes is Dorian Gray who has his portrait painted by ben Chaplin and falls under the influence of Colin Firth. Ben barnes stays young whilst his picture ages, but he uses the gift for amoral womanising, being led astray by Colin Firth. This is quite a dark version of the novel, but the production quality is impressive giving a good feel of the period, which is helped by the good quality of the acting from a competant cast.
