A white hole sends a bolt of ultra dense matter through the earth and stops it rotating. a female scientist, a CIA agent, his son and his girlfriend mange to save the world depite the CIA chasing them and trying to stop them for their nefarious reasons. The science is nonsense (if the earth suddenly stopped rotating GPS and the internet would stop), but it is fun on the level of teenage geek saving the world whilst being chased by sinister agents in big black cars.
