A post World War 3 society tries to keep all its citizen under control by banning any emotions and giving them all a drug every day. Anybody found contravening the laws to eliminated, but one of the top enforcers starts to doubt. It is hard to believe how such a society could function in practice as there are all sorts of holes in the logic and plot, but Christian Bale gives a good performance as someone starting to rebel in a totalitarian state.
