Comment
A small grouup of bus passengers, including an escaped convict (Carole Lombard) and the policeman (Owen Moore) taking her back to prison get stuck in a snow storm. They take refuge in a church where another man (William Boyd) has taken refuge. Isolation, sexuality and thoughts of escape all raise tensions within the group. This is an early sound film which is parts explores the use of sound in film, but is largely slow and very wordy. It is notable for the early performances from William Boyd and Carole Lombard before they became major stars.
