Colin Firth is a widower with 7 unruly children who keep chasing away nannies. Finally a new one (Emma Thompson) turns up uninvited and proceeds to tame the children, whilst the father looks for a new wife. Entertaining for children with some suitably over the top performances from some of the characters.
