Ben Stiller is a divorced man takes a job as a night security guard at a natural history museum to stay near his son. However when the sun goes down all the exhibits come to life. When the old night guards attempt to steal hte magic tablet that makes the exhibits come to life, he has to prove he his a worthy father to his son by stopping the theives and rescuing the tablet. This is an entertaining family comedy with some good effective special effects, This is well cast with good support from Robin Williams and comic cameos from Steve Coogan and Owen Wilson
