Jack Black is a would be rock musician who owes rent so he impersonates his flat mate to get a job as a supply teacher in a school. He then turns turns a group of public school kids into a rock band and enter a competition. The plot is obvious, however it is done in an engaging and entertaining way that is carried off successfully by the children and Jack Black
