A small American town is invaded by an alien life form that takes over people and turns them into zombies and a small group of the residents fight back. The plot may not be original, but this is an effective and impresive version of the zombie / B movie style horror film. This film is good at what it sets out to do: suspense, shock and gore and is better than most versions of this type of film.
