A spaceship with 8 crew is sent out from earth to the sun to explode a giant nuclear bomb in an attempt to restart the suns nuclear reaction which is stopping. The plot that revolves arround how the characters cope with all the problems they encounter, some of their own making and some not. Director Danny Boyle has produced a great Sci-Fi film on a small budget that incorporates some good effects.
