Version of the H G Wells novel In 19th century America a scientist creates a time machine after his girl friend is killed so he can go back in time and change history. After she dies again, he travels into the far future where mankind has evloved into two races. The ones living underground are cannibals feeding on the other race. The changes to the plot leaves it unsatisfying
