During the English Civil was, Vincent Price is a self styled witch finder who goes around East Anglia killing people he says are witches. He kills the uncle of of a girl who is the girlfirend of Ian Ogilvy, so Ian Ogilvy sets out to bring Vincent Price to justice.
This is a dark drama that involves torture, death and sex in which Vincent Price gives a good performance, and is one of the best British films of type from the 1960's.
