Ann Gillis was a chil actress in the 1930's, one of several young actress's that Warner Bros hoped would be the next Shirley Temple, but it was not to be. She left Hollywood after her marriage to an English actor and then appeared in several British television episodes. Her final film role was a a cameo in 2001 A Space Odysey.
