A headstrong young lady (Shirley Tample) is sent down from school for wanting to paint male models and then scandalises her home town when she paints a young man at the same time as her father (Robert Yong) is up for election as bishop. Whilst the plot is dated. Shirley Temple brings an enthusiansum to the role that make the film watchable, despite flat performances from most of the rest of the cast.
