Comment/Synopsis
A newly engaged woman takes a job as deputy head of a school away from where she lives, but the family who effectuvely run the town take a dislike to her and so she has to try and win them over. The film is a plesant if slightly melodramatic adaptation of the novel by L M Monthomery and is the follow up to Anne Of Green Gables.
