Comment/Synopsis

After a failed smash and grab robbery one member (William Hartnell) of the gang gets caught but the rest escape. When he is released from jail he starts a complex plan of revenge on the other members of the gang. An engrossing British film noir style crime thriller. Plot weavs around William Hartnell's revenge plan, the gang trying to stop him, the police (Robert Beatty) looking for a murderer and an innocent dance hall girl (Joyce Howard).
