Bruce Willis is saving the world again, this time leading a group of oil drillers sent to plant a nuclear bomb on an asteroid that is about to destroy the earth.There are plenty of good effects, and the tension builds well with the plot. The characters are somewhat stereotypical but are engaging despite a few contrived relationships, but the action particularly in the second half of the film makes it a good film. This is one of the best of the how do we save the world from total destruction films.
