Comment
A young dancer (Berenicec Bejo) meets her silent film heart throb (Jean Dujardin) and their kiss hits the press. She auditions as a dancer and her career goes up and up as she becomes a star of the new talking films, meanwhile his career take a downward turn as he fails to make the transition to talking pictures. This is a well made modern version of a 1930's silent, black and white film. There are good performances from the two main leads well supported by a cute dog and Malcolm McDowell as the butler who works for both of them.
