A man (Harold Lloyd) is trying to ask the father of his girl friend if he can marry her, but as the father is so busy, every time he tries to see the father he gets ejected from the father's office. This is really a one joke short as Harold Lloyd repeatedly gets thrown out of the office., but with good support from Bebe Daniels as the office worker helping him and then falling in love with him.
