A bar singer (Betty Grable) is upset when her friend (Cesar Romero) pays attention to another woman and ends up accidentally shooting the local judge. She and her friend (Olga San Juan) assume the identity of a school teacher and her maid and hide out in a small town as a teacher and maid. This is not a great film but is an entertaining comedy with some witty dialogue and some funny scenes including when Betty Grable takes control of two unruly boys in her class by shooting ink bottles off their heads.
