When a merchant (Yossi Graber) losses his fortune, his daughter (Rebecca De Mornay) agrees to go and live in the castle of the beast (John Savage) in exchange for her father's life after he takes a rose from the castle grounds. This is an uninspiring version of the fairy story. The songs are poor and inappropriate. Rebecca De Mornay is OK, but the character is flat.
