A puppeteer finds a portal that can take people into John Malkovich's mind. This is one of those strange films that raises all sorts of issues about personality, identity and sexuality, but ends up being more bizarre rather than exploring these issues. However there are enough intriguing elements of visuals, humour and questions to make the film engrossing enough to watch.
