The son (Ian Carmichael) from a family of small time crooks thinks he has found the big money when he steals a case full of money, only to find it is counterfeit. However the temptation to spent it is too great, especially when he can impress the attractive barmaid (Belinda Lee) from his local pub, but the real thieves are on their tail. This is an entertaining, though not great British comedy. Ian Carmichael is OK in the lead role, but it is belinda Lee wwho is the star as the young woman who thinks the man she quite likes has suddenly become rich and she can have thing and go places that she only dreamed of. Jill Ireland only has a very small role as the daughter.
