A circus acrobat (Asta Nielsen) is persued by two men. After they get into a fight over her, the one she likes loses a lot of money to the other man, so she steals a necklace for him to sell and pay off the debt. This is a German/Danish melodrama that is well produced and acted for a 1911 film. This is an early film from Asta Nielsen before she became a majot silent star.
