Stan Laurel is still at his WW1 post 20 years after the war ended. His friend Oliver Hardy takes him home and introduces him to his wife (Minna Gombell) and neighbours (Patricia Ellis) with comic consequences. The story line, what little there is of it, is just there to hang the visual jokes on, and as always with Laurel and Hardy some are very funny and some not so.
