A poor boy becomes a famous bullfighter in Spain. He marries for love, but his fame brings him into contact with a high ranking woman that he has an affair with. Eventually his worlds collide. This is one of Rudolph Valentino better films and he is well suported by Nita Naldi as the predatory woman and Lila Lee as his loving wife.
