Elvis Presley returns home to Hawaii after being in the army. His family wants him to join the family business, but he wants to make his own way in the world so gets a job as a tourist guide in the company his girlfriend (Joan Blackman) works for. This is an entertaining vehicle for Elvis Presley's singing and Angela Lansbury having fun as his mother.
