Buster Keaton builds a boat in his basement, only it is too big to get out the door. When he launches it, it sinks, but he rebuilds it and takes his family out for a cruise but this leads to all sorts of problems. This is Buster Keaton doing his usual physical comedy, but this time in a small boat. Sybil Sheely is the unflappable wife who copes calmly with all of Buster Keaton's disasters with her children.
