Comment/Synopsis

A man (Rex Reese) needs to marry before midnight to collect his large inheritance. However the woman (Vera Reynolds) is delayed and he has a rival, so one of his creditors suggests another woman (Nita Martan) pretends to be his wife, although she has a boyfriend (Paul Hurst). They all end up in a haunted house with assorted comic and romantic twists. This is an entertaining pre-code romantic comedy with a fun performance from Nita Martan.
