The daughter (Joan Marsh) of wealthy family discovers that her real mother is the sister of the woman she thinks is her mother and her real mother was a convicted murderer. The woman (Ann Codee) who revealed this blackmails the family, and then the daughters life falls apart as she struggles with the relationship with her boyfriend (Hugh Marlowe) and a reporter (Ray Walker) starts to investigate the family.
