An aspiring singer (Winifred Shaw) gets her big break with the help of a man (Lyle Talbot) who becomes her manager. She falls in love with him, but he is in love with a socialite (Genevieve Tobin) whose hot headed brother has a gambling debt to him. Neither the plot or script are very inspiring. Genevieve Tobin bring some class to her comparatively small part.
