A woman is persuaded by her friends that being married means she can have more fun and affairs, so after undergoing a makeover she ends up being mistaken for a married woman so decides to go to Europe as this married woman only for her "husband" to appear. Joan Bennett gives an entertaining performance as the woman enjoying her lifestyle, but in the end it has consequences for her.
