Comment/Synopsis

The son (William Boyd) of the manager of a logging operation falls in love with a showgirl (Ginger Rogers) on a boat that stops near their operation. The father does not approve of the relationship and meanwhile the son is in competition with another worker to take over when the father retires. This is William Boyd before he became Hopalong Cassidy and an early performance from Ginger Rogers. The plot is thin but the highlight is the runaway train and the log jam on the dam, the effects are good for the time the film was made.
