In Victorian England, young women are going missing and turning up as shop mannequins and suspision falls on a strange couple (Kenneth Williamd and Fenella Fileding) in a large mansion. The incompetent police (Harry H Corbett and Peter Butterworth) investigate. The film is typical of the usual Carry On format, this time in a comic version of a "Hammer Horror" setting. There is a good performance from Fenella Fielding as the sexy vamp and a selection of one line jokes. The jokes may have been lifted from other sources, but they are still funny. This is one of the three best films in the series.
