A group of entertainers are invited to perform at a castle, but the count is intending to make mummies of more than just animals. This is a low budget Italian gothic horror film from the 1960's. It stars Christopher Lee who was living at the time in Europe as a tax exile from Britain, though this is not one of his better films. Donald Sutherland has three small parts in one od his early films. The best actingperformance comes from Gaia Germani. It was probably filmed in black and white to save money but it does give more of foreboding feel to the film.
