Charlie Chaplin is a waiter who rescues a wealthy lady (Mabel Normand) from being attacked and pretends to be a foreign ambassador, but his rival for the woman sets out to expose him. A good example of the two great comic talents of Charlie Chaplin and Mabel Normand working together. There is also an uncredited performance from Minta Durfee as a dancer.
