Comment/Synopsis

Two athletes compete in the 1924 Olympics, one a Christian (Ian Charleson as Eric Liddell) who refuses to compete on a Sunday and the other a Jew (Ben Cross as Harold Abrahams). The film benefits from the Vangelis sound track. The screenplay was written by Colin Welland.
