Comment
A woman (Ruth Chatterton) discovers that her husband (Clive Brook) is having an affair with her best friend (Mary Nolan) who is also married. She pretends not to know, but when it all comes out she comes up with a plan to get back at him and win him back. This is an early sound film version of the play the Constant Wife. Ruth Chatterton is good in the lead role and there is good support from William Powell. As with other early sound films, the cameras are very static which limits the acting, but this is more than compensated for by a good script that is well delivered by the cast.
