A man and a woman have a friendship via letters. She decides to visit him incognito. She meets the man's son but thinks he has written the letters and he thinks she has come to inspect the hotel to rate it for a guide book. Their romance has its inevitable ups and downs. The mistaken identity plot is not original and it is a bit slow in parts. It is notable for a cast that is nearly all American Indian.
