A married man (Colin Clive) meets a single female aviator (Katharine Hepburn) and falls in love with her which has consequences for both of them and his family. The morality of the film has not aged well and for a pre-code film the sexuality is implied rather than on screen. This was Katharine Hepburn's second film and her first in the main staring role. Despite the thin plot and some poor dialogue and uncredited music from Max Steiner it is possible to see some of Katherine's potential here and there is good support from Helen Chandler as the daughter in love with an unsuitable man. It was directed by Dorothy Arzner who was the only female director in Hollywood at the time.
