Adam Sandler is given a remote control by Christopher Walken which he can use to see the past and skip forward in time. He uses it to improve his career and try and help his worl/life balance, but he ends up being estranged from his wife (Kate Beckinsale) and children. Parts of this are a typical Adam Sandler comedy and part an attempt to make a social comment. This is not the best of Adam Sandler, but there is a good performance from Kate Beckinsale and they are ably supported by a strong cast.
