After a woman (Anne Hathaway) breaks up with her boyfriend, she returns home, only to find that when she goes to the park of her childhood at a particular time a giant creature appears in the other side of the world in Seoul. Her childhood nemesis discovers (Jason Sudeikis) he can also create a monster and uses it to try and manipulate her despite killing lots of people. This is not really a monster movie, but more an examination of dealing with failure. The good part of the film is the performance of Anne Hathaway , but the problem is that the characters are not pleasant and the plot has all sorts of problems.
