When a body is delivered in a crate to the home of an actress (Adele Jergens) two rival newspaper reporters (George Bent and Joan Blondell) compete with each other and the police to find the murderer. George Brent and Joan Blondell bring energy and some comic turns to the film and Adele Jergens brings some elegance. The plot is a typical pair of reporters against the incompetent police, but worth wathcing for Joan Blondell's performance.
