Comment/Synopsis

Jose Ferrer plays Cyrano de Bergerac the poet and swordsman with the big nose. He both helps and competes with William Prince for the affections of Mala Powers. Jose Ferrer gives a great performance that involves a whole range of emotions. Steve Martin does a good modern take in Roxanne.
