Comment/Synopsis
Humphrey Boart is on a train with his army friend, but the friend disappears and then turns up dead. Humphrey Bogart investigates the murder with the help of the man's widow. This has all the good elements of film noir including the dark moody filming and commentary from the leading man. There is a strong performance from Humphrey Bogart who is ably supported by Lizabeth Scott as the femme fatal.
