An escaped murderer (Emrys Jones) discovers he has a double and when they meet up he kills his double and takes over his identity. Things get complicated when a ship sinks nearby and and a couple and a young woman (Zena Marshall) who is his girlfriend are billeted with him and also it turns out that the man he killed was not who he appeared to be. This is a low budget British drama with a solid performance from Zena Marshall and some light relief from Joan Hickson as the housekeeper.
