Spencer Tracey, Frank Sinatra and three convicts rescue a group of children from a hospital on an island with a volcano that is erupting lava. This is a disaster film that is very slow moving and lacks any real tension, but it is reputed to be the first of the disaster genre of films. This was the only film that Spencer Tracey and Frank Sinatra starred in together.
