Evan Rachel Wood is a teenager who meets Edward Norton at a petrol station and invites him to the beach with her friends. He claims to be a cowboy from South Dakota but as their relationship develops, against the will of her father (David Morse) it becomes apparent he is not as innocent as he seems and trgic consequences develop.
