Dr Jekyll's tries out his new formula on himself and unleashes his violent murderous alter ego in this musical version of the story. This is a curious musical version of the story with an over the top performance from Kirk Douglas. The strangest scene is him riding a bicycle round a conservatory singing I have bought a bicycle with Susan Hampshire dancing around him. Susan George gives a creditable performance as the prostitute that he abuses and there is good support from Donald Pleasence.
